Sharing is caring, right? I’m thrilled to take you behind the scenes of The Maybe Forever, a home where we’ve focused on aligning beauty and functionality with the way we live each day. My goal is to change lives, one home at a time, by helping people understand how impactful building materials can be. That’s why, as always, we’ve designed The Maybe Forever to balance the “pretty” and the “practical” in every detail.
It’s often the elements you don’t see that make the biggest difference. From energy-efficient insulation to flooring that quiets the space, here’s a look at the materials that shape the experience of living at The Maybe Forever.
Materials You Can’t See (But Feel Every Day)
- Insulation: Bradford Soundscreen – Exceptional for both energy efficiency and soundproofing, making each room feel like a cozy retreat.
- Plasterboard: Gyprock HD – This reinforced plasterboard provides a durable base, enhancing both acoustics and longevity for a quieter, more solid home.
- Flooring Panels: Big River Group MaxiFloor – MaxiFloor is an Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) flooring product that excels in structural, thermal, and fire-resistant qualities. With its strength and acoustic properties, it creates a quiet floor without the squeaks, bounce, or flex of conventional particleboard floors.
Now for the Pretty Side of Things
Functionality is key, but aesthetics give the home its character. We chose finishes that bring a timeless, refreshing look to every room and corner.
- Facade Colors: Dulux Mt Aspiring on weatherboards and rendered walls, with Dulux Vivid White on trims and doors, to create a crisp, classic look.
- Interior Color: Dulux Natural White – This warm white adds enough warmth for a cozy yet airy feel on walls, ceilings, and trims.
- Feature Color in Outdoor Room: Dulux Blue Balm – A lively, beach-inspired blue on the BBQ/bar area, adding a fun, “Bahamas” vibe to the outdoor space.
- Door Hardware: Iver Brunswick Range in Signature Brass – Bold and elegant, these handles bring a touch of jewellery to the doors.
- Light Switches: Tradco Traditional Light Switches in Traditional Brass – These classic switches add a rich, vintage feel that complements the home’s refined finishes.
