We know first-hand the building and design world can feel overwhelming, but it's an absolute game changer when you have a team of like-minded souls to expertly take your project from concept to completion. It’s the ultimate combination of SOUL Home’s effortless style together with a seamless build process that will deliver the home of your dreams.
We only take on a limited number of projects per year to give our clients the attention and love each home deserves. With a highly personalised approach, we take the time to get to know you on a deeper level to ensure our designs meet your vision in every way. Every detail is considered, from nailing your floor plan and lighting specification to selecting fixtures, finishes and furnishings that not only look good, but are functional for daily living.
Once the designs are finalised (we hope it’s love at first sight), our team can also oversee the entire build if you decide to do that - we’ll be onsite ready to problem solve and guide until final handover. With our extensive interior design and building expertise, alongside a team of trusted tradespeople and contractors, you can relax knowing you’re in VERY capable hands.

Our Process

(Pre-Work) Consult
It's time to enhance and expand your initial vision.
We'll delve into the floor plan and spatial planning (one of our specialties) and begin shaping your spaces. By applying the 70/20/10 design approach and introducing carefully chosen materials, we'll bring your vision to life.
This stage wraps up with a meeting to present the overall direction.
Schematic Design
Now we roll up our sleeves and get to work. We bring our expertise and creativity to the forefront, crafting detailed plans and schedules that are crucial for guiding your build team. We’ll also take you through each space, highlighting the details and material selections to enable you to visualise your home fully. Upon completion, you’ll be able to visualise your home and have all your selections locked in.
Please note that you may choose to only complete steps 1 through to 3; however, steps 4 through to 7 cannot be completed independently.
Design Development
We document the details with technical drawings to communicate the specifications needed for tradespeople to work from, which are also used in the tendering process. This includes plans that show measurements, materials, finishes and all the details that your builder and tradies need to work from for a seamless build.
Construction Drawings
We’re not just designers; we know our way around a construction site and are fluent in ‘tradie’ lingo. During this stage, we collaborate with your build team to bring the vision of your home to life and execute our plans seamlessly. We can take charge of the project oversight, addressing any questions or details that happen along the way. This hands-on approach allows us to infuse your home with an extra touch of ‘soul’ during the build process and ensure that it is built to perfection.
Oversee
Our selection process focuses on furniture and decor that seamlessly blend function with style, ensuring each piece aligns beautifully with the desired aesthetic and fits the proportions of your space. We collaborate with trusted industry suppliers (opening our black book) to curate a cohesive collection, creating spaces that truly resonate with a feeling of being on holiday.

With years of industry know-how, we leverage our expertise in working with suppliers to handle negotiations, manage purchases and coordinate deliveries for your project. We aim to streamline the procurement process, ensuring timely and efficient sourcing of materials and products. So, you can relax as it all comes together, one delivery at a time!

Frequently asked questions
We cover a wide range of locations for projects that don’t require our direct oversight on-site. For projects where we are engaged (steps 4 to 8 above), our service area extends from Sydney to the South Coast, including the regions around Gerringong and Berry.
Every client and every home are unique, and so is each project. It truly depends on the size, scope and timings of the project.
To give each home the full attention it deserves, we usually only take on one large project at any given time. Although we may have projects in various stages, we like to focus fully on one property at a time.
No! You can choose to opt for stages 1 to 3 if that’s what you need. Alternatively, a consultation can be the perfect starting point.
Custom residential builds and holiday accommodation is our bread and butter. Not to toot our own horn, but we are pretty good at it (with the experience to back us up).
